About Gree
Gree started out as an air-conditioning assembly company in Zhuhai, China, in 1991. Since then, it has grown into the world’s largest air conditioner manufacturer, with products sold in over 190 countries worldwide.
Today, Gree is backed by more than 50,000 R&D engineers, over 130,000 patents, and 15 manufacturing bases globally. Gree’s laboratory was recognised by the China Quality Certification Centre (CQC) as the world’s first International Certification Enterprise Laboratory, affirming that its testing and standards meet international benchmarks. This is backed by continuous investment in next-generation HVAC technology, including fully automated production lines and the integration of 5G technology.
Gree’s commitment to quality is reflected in its compliance with major international standards and certifications, including the European CE standard, German TÜV certification, Australian RCM certificate, Saudi SASO certificate, and Hong Kong’s Energy Saving and Safety Certificates, among others.
For commercial applications, Gree offers a full range of solutions, including 360° cassettes, high-static ducted units, and under-ceiling units, alongside its flagship GMV range, which uses Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) technology for greater energy efficiency and design flexibility.
Sustainability is also central to Gree’s approach. The company has developed a range of direct Photovoltaic (PV) solar-powered air conditioners, which can run on solar panels or connect directly to your main power supply, giving businesses more flexibility in how they power their cooling systems.
